Some Americans didn’t feel like celebrating Independence Day this year because they were still trying to recover from the news of the Supreme Court’s rulings about the 2nd Amendment, Roe V Wade and the environment.

Conservatives understand your plight.

Whenever there’s an imbalance of power in our government and one side has the opportunity to do as it pleases with impunity, the other side feels left out of the conversation.

This session’s rulings by the Supreme Court should now force Democrats and Republicans to sit down and talk about what those rulings mean and how each side can work within their own party to find compromises that will let everyone live while feeling represented.

Sadly, history tells us that this won’t be the case and that only more anger will be the end product of the rulings. After all, anger is what allows both sides to manipulate your feelings and get you to show up as a loyal voter on election day.
